Mslonda (Yolonda) is a dynamic media entrepreneur, talk show host, and nonprofit founder originally from Gary, Indiana, and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A proud mother and resilient Taurus, she’s been on her own since age 17, raising four children while building a powerful platform to uplift others.
Her entrepreneurial journey began in 2020 with the founding of Lady Zinnia’s Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to supporting single mothers and teen girls. To help fund this mission, she stepped into the media space and discovered a true passion. Since then, she’s launched Sip N Talk w/ Mslonda (soon to evolve into a seasonal talk show), Queen’s Talk TV, a multimedia network, and Crown Radio, an online station—all created to spotlight talent and empower everyday people to thrive.
Currently, she is producing a groundbreaking reality TV series, “Plus-Size Baddies”—a celebration of powerful, beautiful, entrepreneurial plus-size women from across the U.S. The show will hold its first auditions in Chicago on October 18, 2025, and begin filming in the summer of 2026.
Inspired by real-life storytelling, Mslonda’s favorite artists include Fantasia, Xscape, Cardi B, Chrisean Rock, and fellow Taurus Kandi Burruss, who fuels her own drive as a serial entrepreneur.
